Will Gowling
Will Gowling is a Glasgow-based writer, director and producer from Darlington. Over the past few years, he has written and directed several shows for the University of Glasgow’s student-led writing festivals, including ‘The Model’ and ‘Boutique’. Most recently, he has ventured into independently producing his work with ‘Cherrypit’ and an upcoming re-staging of ‘The Model’. In 2026, Will shall have completed his undergraduate degree in English Literature and Film and Television. Inspired by the works of horror, science-fiction and fantasy he grew up adoring, Will is interested in compounding the fantastic and the mundane to explore queer histories, generational divides, and stories of family and belonging. ‘The Model’ is his first published work.
